Where does the hardware come from?
The systems can either be provided by way of donations from other sources or supplied from the MAR’s own stock. In the former case the recipient merely has to pay the MAR for the refurbishment of the PC and the installation of the software. In the latter case the system will be supplied at a reasonable cost depending on the specification. In either case the PC systems represent excellent value for money.
Bridgeport has supplied 189 PC systems under the MAR programme many of which have been donations from Bridgeport. It is unfortunate that Bridgeport has not received any donations from other sources and, again, we are discussing this situation with Microsoft.
